Reimagining conflict…

Collaborative Resolutions Group (CRG) works to transform conflict into opportunity — offering services and training in mediation, facilitation, and restorative practices for individuals, organizations, and communities.

We envision a human-centered world of empowered  interpersonal  communication that supports a collaborative culture of peace and possibility.

Collaborative Resolutions Group, Inc. (CRG) is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit serving the communities of Western Massachusetts.

Our Approach

Partnership

CRG is one of 12 Community Mediation Centers in Massachusetts, and are the designated CMC for Franklin, Hampshire, and Hampden Counties. We work closely with the Massachusetts Office of Public Collaboration, other mediation centers in our region, and funders like the Massachusetts Bar Foundation and Massachusetts Attorney General’s Face to Face Mediation Program to carry out our work. We believe in developing strong partnerships with other organizations, individuals and institutions engaged in complementary work.

Structure

CRG’s board and staff team work in collaboration with a roster of consultant and volunteer mediators, trainers, and other providers to serve local communities in ways that work for them. We believe in basing our work on community needs, training and serving community members, and adapting what we do to fit various community contexts.

Values

We are committed to collaboration, empowerment, and equity. We seek to demonstrate through our actions a strong commitment to ongoing learning and undoing of structural oppression. Both internally and within our partnerships, we work to nurture respectful and authentic connections, create opportunities for people to resolve issues and communicate in ways that work for them, and to help develop collaborative structures and systems supporting individuals in our communities.
