Our Mission
CRG works to transform conflict into opportunity — offering services and training in mediation, facilitation, and restorative practices for individuals, organizations, and communities.
Our Vision
We envision a human-centered world of empowered interpersonal communication that supports a collaborative culture of peace and possibility.
About CRG
Collaborative Resolutions Group (CRG) was founded in 1987 as The Mediation and Training Collaborative (TMTC), with the mission of offering high quality mediation training to community members and collaborating with the court system and community outreach agencies to offer free and low-cost mediation services to all who need them. Originally a programmatic branch of a large regional agency, CRG became a unique non-profit in 2019 to offer an expanded range of services and meet diverse community needs.
Today, CRG is the designated Community Mediation Center for Franklin, Hampshire, and Hampden Counties in Western Massachusetts. We partner with the judiciary to help individuals dealing with complex issues resolve them outside the courtroom. Our areas of mediation service include housing and tenancy; divorce and parenting; agriculture; reentry of formerly incarcerated individuals; small claims court cases; and court and community referrals of all kinds. We train and mentor lay and attorney mediators, liaise with regional agencies to reach those in need of our services at all points in the life cycle of a conflict, and coordinate cases to ensure people get high quality services from appropriately qualified practitioners - all at times, places, and prices they can afford.
