Restorative Practices Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY

32 hrs/wk | flexible remote/in-person, occasional evening and weekend requirements

$20-24/hr plus benefits

The Restorative Practices Coordinator (RPC) supports the implementation and day-to-day operations of CRG’s Restorative Practices Program. Working closely with the Restorative Practices Program Director, this role helps ensure that program activities run smoothly; practitioners, participants, and program partners are well-supported; and program data and logistics are well-managed.

The Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining organized, responsive, and high-quality program delivery by coordinating referrals, supporting practitioners, tracking program activity, and assisting with outreach and reporting processes. The Coordinator will be responsible for offering skillful online and in-person facilitation and fostering hospitable relationships with clients and partners through the coordination of a variety of services. This position contributes to a collaborative team environment and supports CRG’s mission, values, and commitment to equitable and community-centered conflict resolution and skill-building / training.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • A passion for youth leadership and social justice

  • 1–3 years experience in mediation, restorative justice, conflict resolution, or related field

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through consistently

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

  • Proficiency with standard office and virtual tools (Google Workspace, Zoom, data systems)

  • Must live in (Hampden, Hampshire, or Franklin county) Western MA

  • Reliable vehicle

Preferred

  • Experience working with BIPOC youth

  • Advanced training in restorative justice or mediation

  • Experience working in nonprofit or community-based settings

  • Experience with data tracking or case management systems

  • Experience supporting trainings or group processes

  • A commitment challenging systemic oppression (including racism and adultism)

  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills 

  • Experience with curriculum development and facilitation skills

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Program Coordination & Implementation

  • Coordinate day-to-day RP program activities, including referrals, inquiries, scheduling, and logistics

  • Maintain program calendars and track ongoing cases, trainings, and events

  • Ensure timely communication with participants, practitioners, and partners

  • Support preparation and follow-up for restorative circles, mediations, and trainings

  • Facilitate and co-facilitate in-person and online training, workshops, and other related programs


2) Intake, Case Support & Participant Communication

  • Conduct initial intake, screening, and documentation for RP referrals

  • Communicate with participants to prepare them for RP processes and ensure follow-up

  • Maintain organized, confidential case files and documentation

  • Support practitioners with case preparation and logistics


3) Practitioner Coordination & Support

  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating facilitators and practitioners

  • Support logistical needs (documentation collection, scheduling trainings, communications)

  • Help track practitioner activity (assignments, hours, participation)


4) Data Tracking, Reporting & Administrative Systems

  • Enter and maintain accurate program data (referrals, demographics, outcomes)

  • Generate basic reports and summaries for the Director’s use in grant reporting

  • Help maintain systems for tracking program activity and contacts

  • Support documentation of program procedures and updates

5) Outreach & Stakeholder Support

  • Coordinate outreach activities (presentations, events, tabling, communications)

  • Maintain and update contact lists and partner information

  • Respond to general inquiries about RP services

  • Support relationship maintenance with referral partners (schools, courts, community orgs)


6) Organizational & Team Support 

  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and organizational initiatives

  • Provide administrative and logistical support for team-wide efforts

  • Assist with cross-program coordination as needed

  • Provide back-up support for team members when appropriate

  • Co-facilitate restorative processes or trainings, as appropriate

  • Support grant application preparation, data gathering
